Lunch Gambia Home Economics,  9 November 2009

This was the kickoff of the new project of Lions Club Balk "Tusken Mar and Klif", the sponsor of this project. With funding of the Dutch organisations  NCDO and Wilde Ganzen it is possible to renovate the premises
of the vocational school for girls. Gambia Home Economics girls get lessons in cooking, sewing, tie and dye, English, general education.

The project is implemented in two phases: the first phase starting early January 2010 with renovation and modification of a wing with classrooms, office and storage space, build new toilets and refurbishing of
furniture. Foundation to Build is the constructor, local skilled workers will be employed.
