Nursery School - Jalangbang

Jalangbang, is a village in The Gambia, of approximately 3,000 inhabitants, West of the city Brikama, approximately 50 km of the capital Banjul. The nursery school with an average of 60 children is the only school in the village.  For primary education, the children have to go to Brikama, some 6 km further.

Lions club "Tusken Mar en Klif", Balk, The Netherlands, is the sponsor of this project.
The project exists of:

payment of training costs of two teachers for their ECCE-certificate (Early Childhood Care and Education

In this village is a strong rural community; the activities are carried out for this reason by people themselves. There where necessary Foundation To Build recommends.
