What a party on November 11!
The new school for deaf children (three classrooms, offices, storage, toilet
block, watchman house, furniture, outdoor play material) was officially opened
and handed over to GADHOH (Gambia Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing).
GADHOH Brikama Branch
is the user of this new school.
Happy children, grateful school management, women in beautiful dresses
and neatly dressed men, music and dance, that was the picture on this warm
Wednesday.
Lions Club Balk, is the sponsor of the buildings and the establishment of the
school, with contribution of NCDO.
Foundation BUGANALA is the coordinator of this project.
With financial assistance of the Dutch Foundation Friends of Effatha in the
Foundation Buganala could buy the plot.
Compliments for Foundation to Build, together with deaf boys they have put down
this beautiful building.
With contributions of the Dutch 1% club the playing ground, like swings, seesaw,
climbing house are financed.
