The first project in the Gambia of Lions club "Tusken Mar en Klif", Balk, The Netherlands, was the financing of the construction of two classrooms and a toilet building for Advanced Nursery school, London Corner, Serrekunda.
New furniture, educational material and outside playing equipment were part of this project.
Parents and local people did the construction.
The official opening took place on 2 April 2003.
